S heltered in the shadow of a large rocky outcrop, Hayıtbükü is one of Datça's most pleasant bays.

A tiny harbour, a few pensions and modest restaurants, a couple of bars. The guesthouse, run by two siblings, consists of 22 cabins, 12 of them wooden and 10 built of stone, set in a vast luxuriant garden just 50 m. from the beach.

The rooms were kept simple. Four of the cabins include a kitchen. In the wooden houses, hidden among the trees, you wake up to the sound of chirping birds. For breakfast, you'll enjoy delicious village bread baked on the premises, with home-made jams, freshly-laid eggs and a selection of local cheeses. Vegetables grown on site provide the basis for lunch and dinner, prepared on demand. A nice after-dinner stroll will take you to the nearby village, Kızılbük.
